"You, You, Me, You is a must read from anyone who feels overwhelmed by the idea of networking and does not know where to start. It is a fantastic and practical guide to building meaningful and lasting relationships, both personally and professionally. As a young woman in career transition, networking felt like a daunting task, but in the digital age of the job search, who you know is just as, if not more, important than what is on a resume. My fear and discomfort around networking was holding me back when opportunities came knocking, until I read this book. You, You, Me, You helped take the guessing, and frustration out of making connections and gave me the confidence I needed to pursue the career I wanted. Whether I’m reaching out to a prospective employer, catching up with a friend or interviewing for my dream job, those four little words “You, You, Me, You” are the simple, yet key formula to making a lasting impression."

She has a proven formula that is so easily laid out to model. I felt more comfortable setting up meetings with people I did not know well and then continued to build upon those relationships naturally. It was a gamechanger especially when conducting follow up networking conversations. Kudos to Jayne for helping introverts like me!"

It was with very good fortune I was introduced to the book, You, You, Me, You by a dear friend. I mentioned I was looking for a short book, one which would be an easy read as I had been especially busy with the demands of online teaching this summer. Well, I never would have guessed this little book would pack quite a powerful message in how to improve our communication abilities. The premise of this lively book is simple: as face to face communication is rapidly becoming a lost art, it reminds us to slow down, become attentive and more responsive in how we communicate. Personally, I found the techniques very relatable, whether networking for volunteer opportunities, expanding my circle of friendships or sitting down for dinner with family.
The familiar refrain, You, You, Me, You serves as a powerful reminder of the type of communication which truly matters, less about ME and more about YOU! You will find yourself repeating it as I often do. A great little book.
